Oych. An expression is born.

Oych is the brainchild of Lee Levy, the company’s founder.  Oych as a word has a unique backstory, as told by Mr. Levy, “I was driving my son Blake to his first day of High School. We were running  a little late, but if all went well I would get him to school on time. He was nervous and so was I. As we approached the only serious obstacle in our path, a train crossing, the gates started to close. I heard my son exclaim “OYCH!” and wondered where he had heard that unique word. He said that he made it up while at overnight camp when the situation called for an outcry of some sort. We made it to school on time, but the word stuck with me for the rest of the day.  I just couldn’t get the word out of my head for many more months, using it often at the appropriate time. This is when I decided I had to do something to get the word in circulation and that is how the Oych clothing line became a reality.”

The underlying foundation of Oych and its clothing line is based upon the principle of fun, hapiness and joy.  When people see or wear our clothing, it is our hope and intention that it brings a smile to their face and puts a pep in their step.
